Detailed content of the workshop
The workshop Focus on my blood sugar is above all a moment of exchange allowing employees to complete their training on lifestyle and type 2 diabetes. It takes place in several stages:
- Employees are invited to complete the Findrisc questionnaire to identify possible risk factors for diabetes
- A healthcare professional performs a capillary blood glucose measurement
- The healthcare professional interprets the results with the employee and indicates the measures to be taken in the event of high values.
- A letter addressed to the attending physician is given to each employee
